Our Serve Team

The Serve Team's goals are to find new opportunities to serve, nurture and support current ministries and to help all people of Zion to find their God-given purpose in the kingdom. (Ephesians 2:10).

Some of the local ministries we are involved in include, but are not limited to:

Prayer Shawl Ministry which provides comfort to people in times of trouble;

Habitat for Humanity which provides shelter for the disadvantaged by building new homes;

CUP (Churches United Pantry) which provides groceries to people in need, and:

Family Promise which provides temporary housing for families without homes.

A ministry that we have recently begun is one of recycling ink jet cartridges. There is a recycling box in the hallway near the kitchen. Just drop your used cartridges in the box, and we will receive $1 to $4 each. Unfortunately, Epson cartridges are not included, but we appreciate all other donations. The money collected will be used to help fund our local missions.
